Present slides, write notes and review content

Prepare speaker notes, run the slide show and check the deck before sharing.

Applies to Deck 0.7.0 on doc.et.

Rehearse the complete presentation#

Speaker notes keep supporting detail separate from the audience-facing slide. Use the notes area or Notes Page view to prepare the explanation, then start the show from the beginning or from the current slide. Starting from the current slide is useful when checking one transition or a recently edited section.

Set Up Slide Show offers presentation behavior such as looping, timings and slide ranges. Hidden slides remain in the document and can be useful as retained supporting material. Review any custom order and slide links before the actual presentation, because the order visible while editing may differ from the sequence you intend to show.

  1. Write notes for slides that need supporting detail.
  2. Play from the current slide to check individual changes, then rehearse from the start.
  3. Review the final downloaded file as well as the browser session.

Review is stored with the document#

Comments support adding remarks, replies and resolved threads. They provide review context within the deck; they do not establish live multiuser collaboration. The accessibility check reports issues for review, and spelling uses a built-in word list rather than promising complete coverage of every language. Add meaningful alternative text to relevant objects and inspect visual reading order yourself.
