Insert pictures and embedded media
Place images, adjust crops and understand the browser media limits.

Pictures for slides#
Insert Picture opens a browser file picker for PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, BMP or TIFF images. After insertion, move and resize the picture to fit the slide. Picture Format exposes cropping and corrections, letting you change the visible part of an image and adjust its brightness, contrast or saturation without editing the source file separately.
Use Reset Picture when you want to remove picture adjustments. Add alternative text to images that communicate information. A caption on the slide and an alternative description serve different readers, so one is not automatically a substitute for the other. SVG insertion is not included in this browser picture picker.
- Choose Insert Picture and select an image from your device.
- Resize and crop it to fit the intended space.
- Apply corrections if needed and check the image at full slide size.
Audio and video are not the same as browser playback#
The file picker accepts audio and video files for embedding, and the editor stores playback settings such as trimming, loop and volume. However, this browser build does not provide an audio output device to the media player: playback can advance silently. Test any video visually before relying on it. Do not use this version for a presentation that depends on audible narration.
